These GIS maps were created for an electric vehicle infrastructure study for the Greater Baton Rouge Clean Cities Coalition, a Department of Energy program designed to reduce fossil fuel consumption in the transportation sector.  My role was to research what locations in Baton Rouge would be best for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations based on demographics, EV drivers in the city, driving range of current EV automobiles, and other factors.  The layers were created using US Census Bureau and marketing research data on ArcGIS 9.0 and the SimplyMaps program.  For more information or questions about this study, feel free to contact me.
